Need to escape?

danceparty 0comments

Instead of staying in the grey walls of your somber, depressing cabin, which would not want to go out and to dance for the lunch? Revolution is going to break your routine solo noon and to bring out you in town for a dance. It will be your most important business meeting of the week.

Lunch Beat is an hour-long lunchtime dance party that can potentially be thrown in any city and at any venue. It hopes to create places for workers to escape their computer screens and be part of a lunch community.

Lunch Beat was founded by Molly Ränge in June 2010, with the first event being held in a garage in Stockholm. Today these lunch parties have been arranged in over 55 cities including locations on all continents.

Lunch Beat can be arranged by anyone as long as they are willing to design the event in line with the general manifesto.
Lunch Time

Some rules:

-       “If it’s your first lunch at Lunch Beat, you have to dance,”

-        “If it’s your second, third or fourth time lunch at Lunch Beat, you have to dance,”

-        “You don’t talk about your job at Lunch Beat,”

-        “Any Lunch Beat is to be no longer than 60 minutes long and set during ‘lunch time’,”

-       “Lunch Beat always serves their guest with a one Dj-set and one take away meal.”

So let’s dance for an hour and let’s have fun!
